The ZVV network ticket is valid on the entire ZVV network (all zones) for one day. Ideal for tourists, day trips, or when you travel through more than 6 zones.

How long is a ZVV day pass valid?
A day pass is valid until 05:00 the next morning – so you can ride into the night, but the night surcharge still applies on N-lines.
How many trips make the day pass worthwhile?
About 2–2.5 single trips per day. For 2 zones, a single ticket is CHF 4.60 and a day pass is CHF 9.20 – from the 3rd trip you save money.
Is the day pass valid at night (N-lines)?
Yes, but you need to add a CHF 5 night surcharge for night buses / SN lines.
How much is an all-zones day pass?
The ZVV network ticket (all zones, 1 day) costs CHF 42.00 at full fare.
Can I get a cheaper day pass with a Halbtax?
Yes, with a Halbtax you pay half: 2 zones CHF 4.60, network CHF 21.00.
